I spent about two months going back and forth before I finally ordered.
Every time I got close to clicking buy, I'd find another comment telling me I was going to lisp for a month, or that I wouldn't be able to eat, or that the things were going to snap in half in a week.
I'd close the tab, tell myself I was being reasonable, and go back to hiding my smile in photos.
I ordered four months ago.
Almost every fear I had going in?
Wrong.
Not "sort of wrong," not "wrong if you're lucky."
Dead wrong.
A few were real, but not in the way the comments made them sound.
And there are 2 honest limits nobody explained to me up front, which is probably why I'm sitting here writing this.
Here's the full list.
6 myths I was wrong about, then 2 things you actually should plan around before you click order.
